God beyond Sunday Morning
Our goal is to connect people in life-giving relationships. These relationships thrive as people "do life" together and learn to relate God's Word through practical and relevant topics. Groups meet throughout the week, at various times and locations.

What is a Life Group?
A Life Group is simply great place to connect, to experience and share our life. From New Testament times, the people of God have gathered together in homes to learn and grow, to care for and encourage one another, to worship and pray, and to build personal relationships. Life Groups are safe places to grow spiritually, share of ourselves and be encouraged to live out our Christian commitment.
What happens when we get together?
A typical meeting includes time to chat and listen, learn from the Bible, share and pray, as people feel comfortable. Most groups meet every two weeks and then occasionally meet at other times for social events or to be involved together in ministry and service.
What can I expect from a Life Group?
Every group is different but there are some common denominators. Most groups have a time for just hanging out, talking about the week and what's going on in life. The central component is a study of something very relevant to the members of the group. It may be the study of the Book of Romans or the Gospel of John. Or it might be a study on dealing with stress or building better relationships from a biblical perspective. Groups are intended to encourage discussion and engage each person. Life Groups always provide an opportunity to pray for each other and care for one another.
Why should I join a Life Group?
There are four very important reasons. First, you'll begin to understand the Bible better in a small group (there's nothing like discovering God's Word together). Second, you'll begin to feel like you're part of God's family, not just a face in the crowd. Third, prayer will become more meaningful for you (your friends will be praying for you and with you). Finally, chances are you'll be able to handle stress and pressure better (when your friends are there for you, life is a very different experience).
What groups are there?

JUST FOR YOUth
We have two groups, for young people from grade 6-8 and those in high school. We meet up every Friday from 7-8:30pm at Cambridge School gym. Bring your energy, bring a friend! Got questions??? Contact John.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast
Time of laughter, learning, and occasional labour for guys on Saturday mornings. We meet the first Saturday of each month from 8:30am at Mark’s home in Carlsbad Springs. Contact Werner.
Women’s Bible Study Breakfast
Looking for friendship, and encouragement with other women while learning more about your faith? We meet on the fourth Saturday morning of the month at 9am. New people always welcome! You can email Jayne or call her at the church number if you want to check us out.

We recognise that people’s calendars are filled with a myriad of demands but strengthening your life with God is never time wasted and does in fact positively impact all the other important parts of life. Our hope is that over time new groups will be established and that one day everyone in the church will be able to be part of such a group. If you’re curious about hosting a group in your home (which does not necessarily mean leading it!) you can talk with Pastor Alex.
